Fenced out!

This is the tree, and the only one on the Yamuna riverbed stretch behind Akshardham Temple, where about two hundred people saw the announcement of a satyagarh against commercialization of the riverbed showcased in the construction Commonwealth Games facility that Delhi will host in 2011.

This space was lost soon, as the heavy machinery moved in and drowned the visibility/voice of the campaign.

In the following days, a 12-feet high wall made of concrete slabs metamorphosed and the campaigners, including India's water man, Rajendra Singh, observed the 50th day of the protest underneath a massive water-pipe on the edge of the land where the construction is on in full swing.
